1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
3 tablespoons light brown sugar, packed (optional)
1 tablespoon molasses
How to prepare:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Butter or spray a baking sheet.
3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy beat in the eggs one at a time.
